Spiritual and Pastoral Formation

The Aletti Centre is neither an academic institution, nor a school or college offering its own courses. We simply wish to share with everybody what we have received, what we are currently working on, and all our achievements.
In our view, in fact, academic institutions are not enough to hand on the faith in the present world’s cultural contexts. There is a widespread need of ‘schools’ characterized by a new approach, informed by a new wisdom: community life, study, theological research, the spiritual life, inter-cultural dialogue, artistic work, the tradition of the Christian East and of the Christian West, are not separate realities but constitute one living organism. Its core is the Christian understanding of man, with the Trinity in the background. Man’s vocation is therefore the keystone of the anthropological vision, as well as the focus of knowledge and language. Christ’s Passover is the fulfilment of love, and man’s fulfilment too.
